TimeCache 8.0 adds report, invoice improvements
The PandaWare Company has released an upgrade to its time and expense billing software for the Mac, TimeCache 8. Instead of April Fool jokes, we offer you some rumours

Instead of playing an April Fool joke on you, we decided to give you a dose of rumours. Thus, if they do not pan out, we will be able to say that it was a joke:)

  • To start, we received information agreeing with AppleInsider about Snow Leopard. It will certainly not be ready before September although we will learn some more in May. Apple has still some enormously work to do on QuickTime X, Open CL and Large Central.Note that the internal build will support Blu-ray but that Apple has not negotiated yet a licensing agreement, and now there is not a single interlocutor to deal with.
  • The new Xserve will arrive in June, and on this occasion Apple will alter its range of Mac Pro by adding to the catalogue a Xeon 3,2 GHz and a Quadro FX 5800.
  • The portables will move to Nehalem in November.
  • Apple will start to re-examine its range of video software and will start with Final Cut Studio 3. It will certainly be announced during the next months, but in a 32 bit version. An update to 64 bits compatible only with Snow Leopard will be offered after the release of Snow Leopard. This OS will be obligatory because one will need QuickTime X. This will be even able to work with the RED cameras.
  • For DVD Studio Pro, the things always block at the level of the Blu-ray licence, since this software will support this format of course.
  • Shake could be updated soon
  • For Logic, it will be only this autumn.
  • Now you can relax a bit  :)
