Snow Leopard roadmap; Pro app updates in pipeline
Recently, AppleInsider has been provided with a bit more clarity on Apple's pre-release build cycles for Snow Leopard in addition to being tipped off to several Pro application updates currently undergoing beta tests.


iPhone apps: SplashPhoto, Agile, Day-n-Night
SplashPhoto ($5) allows users to sync photos between their iPhone or iPod touch and desktop computer. Within the application users can organize photos into albums, upload or download images from Flickr and Picasa and set up a password to keep the photos private. To sync wireless with a desktop users will also need to have the free SplashPhoto Desktop photo manager....

A little-known equity research firm is out with a new report this week which could potentially shed some color on recent discoveries in Apple's iPhone 3.0 beta software that suggest two architecturally unique iPhones may be in the cards for this spring.

RBC says iPhone 3G 'Pro' won't boost iPhone momentum
The Royal Bank of Canada is maintaining its bearish near-term outlook on shares of Apple, claiming that although consumer interest in a new version of the iPhone remains healthy, sales of the new device are unlikely to provide the company with the same boost seen during the transition from the original iPhone to the iPhone 3G.

Ericsson's 56Mbps HSPA+ speed breaks world record
Ericsson announced on Tuesday that it will demonstrate HSPA data speeds as fast as 56Mbps at the CTIA Wireless convention, which kicks off on Wednesday. The speeds should double those of 28Mbps-capable networks launching in North America, Germany and Italy.
